Mission: Missouri

WE MADE IT!!! Just wanted to let you all know that we made it safetly to Missouri! We are in for an exciting weekend and a full work week. We are going to be lucky enough to have a visit from an old friend, Joe Day (from the old LYC days) this week. Please be praying for all of us if you think about it.

 p.s. Remember, there is NO YOUTH GROUP ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 13th!!!

  1. All of us at LGC have been praying for you guys. We are praying that God will touch your hearts in a special way while you are in Missouri. That He will break down barriers and strongholds in your life that you can give to Him so that your walk with God can be deeper and that you will fall more in love with Him as He heals the broken parts of your hearts. We are also praying that you will make good friends that will encourage you in your faith. I am praying that you will encounter who God is and the deep love that He holds in His heart for you. cindy

    Hello, for those of you who were not blessed to come down to visit us in Missouri, let me introduce myself. Umm. My name is Bobby. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with the group that did come down. For the parents of these young folk, I applaud your young adults (just can’t bring myself to call them kids now) and assure you that they made you proud. I have long believed that the Lord works in ways that we will only understand in His time. In 4 short days of labor, memories were made that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I pray that as the summer moves into fall the lord renews your fires and desires to keep a purified heart. May the Lord work in your hearts as you return home and remember your times here. And in the words of someone who was as country as you wish we were. Ya’ll come back now………….

Hey Hey! the mission trip was so much fun! ya i totally like wanna go back now! lol ya i am going to iowa this weekend and ya its only like 6 hours from the missouri border! lol anyone wanna come with me? we can totally steal my moms car and make a run for it in the middle of the night! lol jkjk that would be great fun tho! lol
